GRAPH EXPO 16 Draws Thousands to Orlando

This year’s “Refresh”-themed GRAPH EXPO comprised print, online and mobile attendees who got to experience a full spectrum of equipment, products and services.

In particular, first-hand demonstrations on mailing and fulfillment and various kinds of printing.
GRAPH EXPO touts itself as the largest and most exciting display of live, running equipment in the U.S.

Watching a machine run and participating in a demonstration teaches attendees things they just can’t learn sitting in a conference room or looking at a brochure. Agreed.

And this year’s event in Orlando, Fl, turned out to be an exciting problem-solving adventure designed to help attendees make informed purchasing decisions.

And right in the middle of all the excitement was the Bell and Howell booth, which featured the company’s cutting-edge systems and service solutions.

CEO Ramesh Ratan said that the event was a great opportunity for Bell and Howell to showcase its technology and its partnerships with industry leaders worldwide.

“Our narrative continues to evolve," he said. “But innovation has always been at the heart of our story.”

The company also presented a free lunch and learn session titled, “Real-world Lessons from Plain Paper Pioneers.”

As many mail-production facilities shift to plain-paper-factory operations, they hope to reap such benefits as reduced inventory and storage costs, time savings, more impactful marketing and enhanced personalization options. Plain paper factories are mail operations that rely on plain white paper rather than pre-printed shells, forms and envelopes.​

The panel discussion focused on how certain companies have successfully converted some or all of their operations to plain paper factories. This year’s panel included AccuDoc Solutions President Robb Cass, Bill Gaddy Senior Director at Broadridge Financial Solutions and David Fox, Valpak’s Executive Vice President of Operations.
